Sotenbori is a fictional entertainment district of Osaka, based on the real life district of Dotonbori. While not as prolific as Kamurocho, it has appeared in several games aside, and has also appeared in spin off titles such as Kurohyou 2.

Kurohyou 2: Ryu Ga Gotoku Ashura-hen
- This version predates the Sotenbori in Yakuza 5 by a few months, but is overall very similar to the 3D version that would come later on.
- A clothing store can be found on Sotenbori St, where Tatsuya can change his outfits. Amusingly, this same store has recently closed in Yakuza 5.
