Brief plot
Kiryu Kazuma takes blame for the murder of his family's Patriarch, and sits in prison for 10 years only to find out his sworn brother turned on him.
Yakuza is a beat-em-up from Amusement Vision, now known as Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (龍が如くスタジオ). It is the first game in the series, and thus laid the groundwork for the series forward. Yakuza uses Criware's file formats, as do most other PS2 games from the era.
To start the game uses a .CVM archive. Here are the names of each archive and the contents within.
