Kurohyou: Ryu Ga Gotoku Ashura Hen is the sequel to the spinoff Ryu Ga Gotoku Shinsho, developed by Syn Sophia (formerly Aki Corporation) many of the animations in the game are taken from the Def Jam series and the Yakuza series
