A remake of [[Ryu Ga Gotoku: Ishin!]], one of the game that was Japan exclusive. It was the first game to make use of Unreal Engine 4.
A remaster of the previously [[Ryu Ga Gotoku: Ishin!|Japanese only release]], itself a standalone spinoff set in the Bakumatsu period of Japan's history.

* Unreal Engine version: 4.27.2
Officially released worldwide in February 21, 2023, it has various changes to the original game, such as the addition of Trooper Cards to the main game, including Western influencers, as well as various actor changes to character models from [[Yakuza 0]], and [[Yakuza: Like a Dragon]]. The game uses Unreal Engine 4, but still retains heavy usage of the PXD engine the original release ran on.
